Adrian Peterson: Marshawn Lynch is 'second best' to me

Adrian Peterson: Marshawn Lynch is 'second best' to me

But Seahawks cornerback Sherman says he does not expect a repeat of the scenes in the 1967 classic despite the weather forecast. "I'll be on a beach in Tahiti somewhere".

The mayors talked some trash in their joint news release about the bet Friday.

The mayors of Seattle and Minneapolis have struck a friendly football wager before the Seahawks playoff clash Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. Lynch and Chancellor were "Full Go" at practices this week in Seattle, these are definitely two players that can change the direction of a game. You tend to forget about what the weather feels like when you're out there getting tackled by 300-pound guys. "As long as you're out there moving around you'll be OK". The coldest home game in Vikings history was December 3, 1972, with a temperature of minus-2 at kickoff.

"We've had a lot of these kind of games, actually", Minnesota coach Mike Zimmer said.

Wilson played his final college season at Wisconsin, so isn't anxious about how the cold will affect his play. Over their last five games, the Seahawks have a SU and ATS record of 4-1. "We talked to the team about the way the elements affect us and the things that we have to adjust to". The Seahawks will show up, will play and plan to win.

The Minnesota Vikings will need to adjust their offensive game plan against the Seattle Seahawks this weekend.

Therefore, the cold could play to Minnesota's advantage.

"Most of those players are in great physical condition, great cardiovascular systems, so they'll probably be at a little bit less risk than the general population", he said. "Being a defensive guy, it's not quite as bad". "You've got heaters on the sideline". But that's on both teams.

"It's cool. I think it means we're consistent in what we do".

Playing in the cold presents some unique challenges, particularly when it comes to ball security. He knew even before the game started how much the Seahawks could afford to allow. He doesn't seem to make mistakes, and obviously he's extremely elusive. "Certainly, it does affect the travel of the ball in the kicking game, it doesn't go as far".

"The wind affects things more than the cold".

"It's great. He's brought some explosive plays to us", Turner said. "It's not going to be an issue for us going forward". The game will be played Sunday, January 10th at 12:00pm CT/10:00am PT.

"We're just looking at the tape and seeing where the Seahawks are at now and planning accordingly". Second-year quarterback Teddy Bridgewater hasn't quite broken out this year like many around the National Football League expected of him.

Wilson does not wear a glove on his throwing hand, but he doesn't anticipate the cold being a problem. So if it's cold for you, it's cold for me, it's cold for him, it's cold for everybody. Fans also are encouraged to leave their seats and enter the concourses when they want a break from the elements. "You've got heaters, heated seats". Defensively, they got after us, offensively they got after us.
