Cavaliers championship parade will be on Wednesday

In partnership with the City of Cleveland, the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers Championship Parade & Rally will take place this Wednesday, June the 22nd beginning at 11:00 a.m. Cavs fans across THE LAND and everywhere are invited downtown to celebrate Cleveland’s first NBA Championship!

The three-pointer has always been the Warriors' greatest advantage, and in the first half, they outscored Cleveland by 27 points from behind the line.

Troy Tulowitzki hit his first homer since returning to the line-up, but it wasn't almost enough as Marcus Stroman was lit up for 10 hits and seven earned runs as the Orioles beat the Jays for the second straight game.

The Cavaliers roared back from a 3-1 series deficit to win the NBA Championship. It was an evening James will definitely never forget, and he earned it 100 percent.

The murmur of media questions being hurled in one scrum after another was drowned out by the occasional yelp of a celebrating player.

Meantime, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver echoed the sentiments of many Cleveland fans: "The curse is over". He was crying on the floor. The founder and leader of the LeBron James Grandmothers' Fan Club couldn't join her friends to watch Game 7 of the NBA Finals until her granddaughter got off from work to give her a ride. "Their voices, their joy, their celebration a result of LeBron James, who - after the hate and doubt and divorce - had returned to his sports-cursed home and done this for them". And the Warriors get so hot that once they're "on", their adversaries quickly find themselves looking into a daunting deficit that grows with every possession. Worse, though the forward actually hit two of his four three-pointers Sunday night, Barnes was 1-for-6 from two-point range and finished the Finals missing 20 of his last 23 two-pointers. If he leaves, the Warriors will be a minor trade or two away from creating room for a max free agent - and we all know there is only one true max free agent this summer. It was a soaring, surging leap through time and space and generations of failure. "No fear this time". Nothing was given to LeBron James. And they were trying to do it with the kind of basketball no one had ever seen before.

The Cleveland fans are not the only ones to whom King James acted as an inspiration, either, as Lebron's teammate Kyrie Irving told ESPN when James was selected as the finals MVP for the third time in his career.

"Let's not move too fast", Irving cautioned. He learned how to lead, he learned the value of the structure, he learned from Dwyane Wade and Erik Spoelstra and Pat Riley and Micky Arison, took little bits from each of them, added it all to his already-ridiculous game and made himself better. He saw the impossible passing angles throughout Game 6.

James scored 27 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds to help Cleveland to their first National Basketball Association title.

Lue himself stepped into the head coaching gig in the middle of the season, after former head coach David Blatt was sacked. He's the finals MVP for the third time, also winning in 2012 and 2013 when he was a member of the Miami Heat.

They did not, because LeBron was so all-encompassingly great, so indomitable.

And James delivered on that promise when he led the Cavaliers to a win over the Warriors in Game 7 of the NBA Finals at Oracle Arena.

Draymond Green led Golden State in scoring, rebounding, and assists while playing nearly every minute.

"It stung", Curry said.

While the game of golf recover from the heinous Dustin Johnson putting controversy? "You Curry's knee injury from early in the playoffs probably contributed to his demise in the Finals, but that's an excuse.
