Gunners have made Jack Wilshere available for loan

"Hopefully he will get that in the future at Arsenal", said Allardyce.

In an attempt to resuscitate his career and get regular first team games, Wilshere has spoken to Arsenal about going out on loan this season.

The England global, who only managed three Premier League appearances last season after breaking his leg, returned to fitness in time to be included in Roy Hodgson's Euro 2016 squad.

Sky Sports are reporting that Wilshere will be allowed to leave on loan in the next couple of days, with reports in the United Kingdom newspapers suggesting it was the player who agitated for a move as he feared he would spend this season warming the substitutes bench.

Having played just 37 minutes as a substitute so far during this campaign, Wilshere is still quite a long distance away from reaching his best form.

Wilshere faces major competition for places in midfield with Granit Xhaka, Santi Cazorla, Mohamed Elneny, Aaron Ramsey and Francis Coquelin all rivals for a spot in the starting XI.

Jack Wilshere is fit and available but severely lacking match practice.

Arsene Wenger is ready to let Jack Wilshere go out on loan in an effort to kick-start his career.

That could open the door to a move overseas with Italy and Spain potential options.

Valencia made a loan move for Wilshere in January but may no longer be interested following Gary Neville's exit as their coach.

Despite being given permission by Wenger to head out on a temporary basis, the Frenchman has assured Wilshere that he remains part of his long-term plans for the future.

Arsenal have two days to find a suitor for Wilshere with the transfer deadline looming - the summer window closes at 11pm on Wednesday.
