Biggest change coming to next month's Apple iPhone 7

This has led to rumours about the highly sought after product's look, specifications and features. Apparently, Apple gave everyone a clue about an improved camera when they released their iPhone 7 launch invitation. The fans will meet at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco at 10 AM local time.

That's my guess, but we'll find out for sure in one week. In fact, the latest evidence comes directly from Apple itself.

The Cupertino giant is expected to make the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus available for pre-orders on September 9 and release on September 23.

Those who are unaware, leaks suggests that the new iPhone will have a similar design as the previous variant, apart from the antenna lines which are moved from the back to the top and bottom sides of the device. The smaller 4.7-inch sibling will have the typical iPhone 7 tag. Design experts claim that Apple may save up to 1mm of thickness by removing the jack. The company is notorious for pinching pennies - the death of the standard 3.5 mm headphone jack to force consumers to use Apple's exclusive Lightning jacks is a prime example - but for once, it seems like Apple is actually doing its customers a favor. All these things are not certainly approved or discussed by the Apple itself but the reports are somehow connecting and surely hint about the bigger changes which are taking places in the upcoming time.

US plaintiffs, Thomas Davidson of Pennsylvania, Todd Cleary of California and Jun Bai of DE, have now filed a class action law suit against Apple alleging that the company knew about the flaw with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus but elected to withhold such information from the public.

It's tempting to say this will be like when iPhone 5 owners were forced to ditch all their old chargers for Lightning ones.

Apple has sent out invitations and publicity announcements for this year's product announcement, to take place 10 a.m. PT on September 7 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. According to a report issued by KGI, the new-fangled Apple Watch 2 will be beefed up with Global Positioning System, superior waterproofing feature, and enhanced performance but will still sport the same design.

If you think you have heard enough iPhone 7 rumors for the week, get this - the iPhone 7 might also come with DSLR quality camera. Now a new leaked image might put the argument to rest.

There are also rumors that the iPhone 7 could introduce wireless "AirPods" ear buds. Too many options? Wait for Sept 7th for confirmation. Apple never, ever comments on its phones before they debut, but if any of these things don't happen, I'll be shocked. Another rumour is that it is not ditching the home button but it is revamping it. But with the unveiling of the next watch just around the corner and with the company getting the trademark only recently, it's not yet clear if Apple is ready to use this name for the very next model or it just wants to wait until the third generation to rename the device. The camera may be packing 21 megapixels.

Some weeks ago, there was a video release showing the iPhone 7 prototype, with the focus on the large camera bulge seen on the rear of the device.
