Trump says he, West, talked 'life'

A newly blond Kanye West visited Donald Trump on Tuesday, and the two men posed for photos but didn't say much about their discussion.

He was arrested trying to enter Trump Tower at around 6.35pm on 12 December after Secret Service agents reportedly searched the 19-year-old's backpack and found a hunting knife. "But I didn't tell you. if I would've voted, I would've voted on Trump".

The meeting, which is taking place at Trump Tower, is mysterious in that neither of the men - who are both quite fond of talking about themselves in any context that makes them seem great - have revealed exactly what the meeting is about.

West didn't stop to talk to reporters gathered in the lobby. He was accompanied by an entourage that included a videographer.

West was hospitalized for more than a week in Los Angeles and canceled the remainder of his Saint Pablo Tour.

'We've been friends for a long time.

West, despite his statements, donated $2,700 to the Clinton campaign in 2015 and appeared in a selfie with the former secretary of state that was posted to wife Kim Kardashian's Instagram account.

His surprising support for Trump was met with anger and confusion in the hip-hop community as activists and artists gear up for a political battle against the incoming president amid fears that a Trump administration could threaten the civil rights of minority groups.

Kanye, who was hospitalised from a nervous breakdown recently, has claimed he wants to run for president in 2020.
