Call for Melania Trump's immigration papers

In the lights of Donald Trump's new immigration ban against Muslim-majority countries, California state senator, Nancy Skinner, has officially asked the White House to release all the immigration papers concerning Melania Trump. "We only know they had a lawyer look at whatever papers she chose to give".

Back in November 2016, an AP investigation revealed the Melania Trump lacked proper work visas when she was employed as a model after her arrival in the country from Slovenia more than two decades ago.

Melania is yet to make any comment on the causes or issues she will align herself with as First Lady, but did say on the campaign trail that she would like to tackle Cyberbullying.

Yet, immigration attorney David Leopold, former president of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, disagrees, arguing that Trump's executive order indeed validates requests for the FLOTUS's status, especially when there are questions of fraud in the mix.

San Francisco attorney Harmeet Dhillon told Politico the attack is "below the belt", calling it "a cheap trolling tactic".

The Trump administration announced last week it would take steps toward building a U.S. -Mexico wall and blocking travelers from some nations in Africa and the Middle East from entering the U.S., regardless if they are permanent residents. In the statement, she said that she "had been at all times in full compliance with the immigration laws of this country", and she stated that she became a United States citizen in July 2006, 18 months after marrying Trump. Trump has also demanded cities turn in undocumented immigrants or risk losing federal funding. That executive order calls for funds to be halted to cities defying immigration laws and those declaring themselves to be "sanctuary cities".

Last week, Donald Trump signed an executive order that bans the citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the USA for a period of 90 days.

Melania has chosen to stay in New York City so Barron can finish his school year. "This is not the way you deal with people's lives". That, of course, never happened.

The White House has not yet responded to requests for Mrs. Trump to release her immigration documents.
