This is Verizon's Moto G5 Plus

Leaks and rumours regarding the Moto G5 Plus have been gaining steam for the last few weeks and now thanks to Evan Blass, we have an image of Verizon's version of the Moto G5 Plus. Although they will be unveiled in Europe, we can safely assume Lenovo will bring the smartphones to additional territories. Evan Blass recently published a press render of the Moto G5 Plus variant that will be offered by the Big Red.

Unfortunately, the press photo does not come with any details about Moto G5 Plus' availability and price. It's also unclear if the largest United States carrier is planning to sell the smaller Moto G5 in addition to the G5 Plus. As for the G5 Plus, there won't be much of a difference.

Both the Moto G5 Plus and its younger brother, the Moto G5 are expected to be announced on February 26 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. In addition, the mid-range smartphone is rumored to feature an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor inside. The fingerprint scanner is placed below this phone's display, and this button will also serve as its home key, probably, though we don't know if it's a physical button, or just a capacitive one, we'll have to wait for the company to introduce the device in order to get more info.

Earlier leaks and rumors have suggested that the handset will sport a 12-megapixel rear-facing sensor complete with a dual-LED flash, while a 5-megapixel camera for selfies. Other features include LTE connectivity, fingerprint scanner, 2 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal memory, and a 3000 mAh battery with TurboPower charging.

As for the Moto G5 Plus, it should carry all of the same general design, albeit being a wee bit larger in size and having better hardware specifications in line with its more premium name.
