Taco Bell Is Getting Rid of Naked Chicken Chalupa from Its Menu

About a month ago, Taco Bell dropped fried chicken shell chalupa and now effective from the month of March naked chicken chalupa will get discontinued too.

Despite the Naked Chicken Chalupa's quick rise to fame, Taco Bell is discounting the "taco that broke the internet" much to the dismay of late-night eaters everywhere.

The item was a limited time offer from Taco Bell, and apparently it's run of only a few weeks was normal for an "LTO item", a taco Bell spokesperson told the Orange County Register.

The Naked Chicken Chalup was added to Taco Bell's menu on January 26, 2017.

A Taco Bell treat that has a shell made entirely of fried chicken will vanish from the fast-food chain's menu despite its popularity. This means that the menu item will have only been around for a couple of months before being taken off the menu.

The Naked Chicken Chalupa sold by Taco Bell uses Mexican seasoning. After that, it was filled with diced tomatoes, avocado ranch sauce, shredded lettuce, and cheddar cheese.
