Now the sequel is finally rolling into theaters on September 29 and has added more than a few stars to its awesome cast: Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Elton John, Jeff Bridges and Channing Tatum are joining Egerton, Firth and returning Kingsman Mark Strong for an adventure that's going to take the handsome Brits all the way across the Atlantic, where they'll meet their American equivalent, the Statesmen.

I never thought I could be so into an orange velvet suit, but people can change.

Not shown are Pedro Pascal (another member of Statesman, America's Kingsman equivalent) and Julianne Moore. My money's on Tatum's character having that lasso on his belt. And what happens when two tech nerds come together? I'm especially excited to see her interactions with Mark Strong's Merlin. Strong hints that there might be a romance in the works: "Might there be some geeky love?" And he'll be zeroing in on a relationship with Halle Berry's American spymaster this time out.

Also apparently we'll be seeing "a mechanical attack dog" as an addition to the kickass high-tech weaponry. The Dude himself has a cutting, no-nonsense stare and (I'm guessing here) is probably the senior Statesmen. Spoiler warning, if you haven't seen the first movie, but he dies quite clearly of a gun shot straight in the head - yet he's at the very top of the sequel's poster. Other new arrivals include Moore's Poppy, a Martha Stewart-like global entrepreneur, and a "Vaughn-ized" version of Elton John, played by the legendary musician himself.

Berry has also been doing a bit of pre-release teasing herself. Hopefully, Vaughn has heard criticism of his ending and won't go rewarding Eggsy with more sex from captive women.

Thankfully, we will not have to wait much longer for the upcoming sequel - The Golden Circle - as Entertainment Weekly has revealed our first look at some of the new actors joining the series, including Channing Tatum, Halle Berry and Jeff Bridges. Expect both to return-against all odds-in the new film.

Star Taron Egerton, reprising his role as young agent "Eggsy" Unwin, promises that the sequel is the Avengers to the first movie's Captain America, while Vaughn says that the film won't be a retread, noting "Sequelitis is a plague I have no interest in contracting".
