Lowry's shot still off in Game 1 loss

On Saturday afternoon, Antetokounmpo got his second audition in the playoffs, as Milwaukee opened their first round series against the Raptors in Toronto.

Game 2 takes place Tuesday in Toronto, before the series shifts to Milwaukee on Thursday and Saturday. Antetokounmpo scored seven points for Milwaukee.

When he has eyes for the rim, there aren't many who can stop him from getting to the rack as Toronto found out the hard way.

The series starts Saturday in Toronto with a 4:30 p.m. game. Lowry leads in steals with 1.5 and in assists with 7.0 per game.

The encouraging thing from the Bucks' standpoint is that they went 14-4 in March and were 21-15 overall after their most recent loss to Toronto on January 27. I thought they played harder, longer than we did. "We've been playing well lately. We have to stay together, stay focused". We didn't play with playoff intensity. "I'm not going to get blindsided by seeing Milwaukee". However, the Raptors are a better all around team.

He particularly respects 22-year-old Antetokounmpo. "No ifs, ands, or buts about it, I've got to play better". He's totally different than anything else in our league. "And you know what, if we gave it our best shot, we gave it our best shot".

"He had some good looks", Casey said. He also finished in the league's top 20 in each category, making him the first player in National Basketball Association history to do so.

In the second half, Bucks coach Jason Kidd relied more on Dellavedova. "It's fantastic how hard he's got those guys playing". The staples of that roster - Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, Patrick Patterson and Jonas Valanciunas - have remained in tact, but the supporting cast has improved over the years. He just blocked one of the best shooting guards in the game today in a playoff game in his place.

The crowd is expected to be loud in its support of the Raptors.

"It's on us", Casey said. "It's pretty cool, I guess". He gets things rolling with a breakdown of the third-quarter run during which the Bucks blitzed the Raptors with Giannis Antetokounmpo on the bench with four fouls.

Overall though, it was yet another disappointing start to a playoff series stretching the Raps mark for ineptitude in these opening games of a first round series to a truely woeful 0-9. "I'm nervous before every game". There is too much on the line for the Raptors not to come out all guns blazing, but this just feels like a few points too many to be giving this Bucks team after what I saw in Game 1. I think the key is about defence.

"We got to go the way Kyle goes". Last season the Raptors finished off the year as the second place team of the Eastern Conference going 58-26.

The single biggest takeaway from this game was confusion as to who was the experienced playoff team, and who were the newbies.

There is still a long way to go for this exciting Milwaukee team. "Go out there, be locked in".

Malcolm Brogdon and Thon Maker hardly looked like rookies playing their first playoff games. "He's won that spot with them so we've got to respect him and he's somebody we definitely have to take out".

Toronto made it to the conference finals last season despite dropping the opening game to Indiana. "We're going in with that underdog mentality to prove people wrong". "They had 28 points in transition and whether it's scrambling, multiple efforts, next guy rotating, we didn't do it".
