Police, FBI hunt for fugitive who shot Oklahoma deputy

"I have ordered flags on county property lowered to half-staff in memory of Logan County Deputy Sheriff David Wade, who gave his life today in the line of duty".

Authorities are looking for the man who shot and killed a deputy in Oklahoma Tuesday.

The sheriff believes the suspect, identified as 45-year-old Nathan Aaron Leforce, may have carjacked two more vehicles since then.

The deputy's name and condition have not been released, but Devereaux said he was coherent and appeared stable before being taken to a hospital. The shooter reportedly stole the deputy's patrol pickup and drove to just west of Langston where another vehicle was stolen at gunpoint at Smitty's One Stop, a convenience store, at State Highway 33 and Henney Road.

At this point, it is not known if he is hurt. Mulhall School District is also on lockdown as is the Coyle School District.

Shortly after 2 p.m., troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed that they captured LeForce.
