Galaxy S8 up for preorders from 7 April

Latest battery tests conducted by PhoneArena have made for interesting reading: Samsung's latest flagship smartphone Galaxy S8 Plus is a safe bet in battery timing in all flagship Android smartphones in the market now.

After the grand announcement of its Galaxy S8, Samsung Mobile India has a pre-registration page opened up for interested customers. The fact that Samsung is working on the next-gen Galaxy S flagship some six months ahead of schedule suggests that Samsung is indeed paying extra attention to product quality, and that's great news for buyers. There's absolutely no chance at the size it is in this rendering that it could fit inside the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

If you're waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, it will possibly set you back somewhere in the region of $1,000. But the company has not lost focus on its other smartphones. The Galaxy A3 2016 owners expected to receive the update on April 24, 2017, but now, it appears the Galaxy A3 devices will get the update in the first week of May 2017, TNH Online has learned. The handset also offers a 3 GB of RAM along with 32 GB of internal memory.

Like we've seen over the past few years, Samsung is offering a slew of different cases and accessories for the Galaxy S8 series. It is rumored to have a fingerprint scanner on the bottom of the front screen as a virtual on-screen home button, a feature that was not adopted for the S8 due to technical issues. The Galaxy A7 is smart enough to optimise photos taken by selecting specific filters and enhancing them. Now, the pre-order date for Singapore has also been revealed. The overnight news was predictable, most of it flagged well in advance.

Moving towards the imaging duties, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has 13 MP of rear camera with LED flash as well as f/1.9 aperture. Samsung could gain some leverage by adopting the dual-lens camera setup for both its cameras. "So the Galaxy S8 becomes the Best Performing Smartphone Display, earning DisplayMate's highest ever A+ grade", it added.
