So does it mean people with older Samsung smartphones would never have the chance to use it?

In fact, all they'd need, according to a new video, is a photo of you in order to bypass the facial recognition feature. The Galaxy S8 is fitted with a 3,000mAh battery while the larger device gets a 3,500mAh unit.

LG Electronics Inc.'s flagship G6 also has facial recognition as one feature provided by Android's Smart Lock.

Samsung just recently launched its flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S8.

If you are wise enough, you may want to wait for the release of the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. "The new device customization is an example of bringing together Microsoft applications on more devices so customers can work, play and connect from their pockets".

We are not sure if the software and facial recognition integration has been perfected to recognize this security flaw but this video would definitely have triggered Samsung's attention.

We also took a brief look at its new security features - like its relocated fingerprint scanner, its Iris scanner and its face recognition.

"The S8 is a unquestionably a strong product but Samsung must now deliver a faultless launch to move on from its earlier difficulties".

The tipster revealed that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 would launch in the fourth quarter of 2017 while the foldable smartphone Galaxy X is coming out in the third quarter of this year.

At the event, we were told that the much-hyped Samsung Bixby virtual assistant will only be in Korean at first, with English to follow, and our event chaperones wouldn't let us try unlocking at all. The new smartphones are powered by the new octa-core Exynos processors with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
