Chris Pratt hilariously volunteers for vacant Federal Bureau of Investigation job

Many saw the decision as controversial, since the FBI was investigating whether associates of President Trump had colluded with Russian Federation to influence the 2016 election.

Bringing back his beloved "Parks and Recreation" character Andy Dwyer, Pratt suggested Dwyer's alter-ego, Burt Tyrannosaurus Macklin of the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a possible replacement.

Finally, the fake former White House staffer on "The West Wing", Bradley Whitford, has a request: "Special prosecutor, please..."

"Just lemme know", he captioned a gif of some of Macklin's most iconic moments, including his leap across the face of Mount Rushmore - which, contrary to popular belief, is not the same as the Grand Canyon. Namely, Chris Pratt, who brought Andy Dwyer to life in the beloved and dearly departed Parks and Recreation.

Fans threw their backing behind Macklin, with some saying his appointment would be "epic", while others suggested Dwyer's other alter-ego Johnny Karate would fit the job description.

The actor took a break from filming earlier this week to visit Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital with his co-star Bryce Dallas Howard.
