The Spanish worldwide has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid again this summer, and it appears as though Jose Mourinho is ready to rotate his squad in the final game of the season against Crystal Palace.

On Pereira, Mourinho said: 'Joel is fantastic and I am going to give him a chance to play in the Premier League this season. His five Premier League outings include one under Mourinho, last month's 3-0 win at Sunderland, when De Gea had "a small problem" and Joel Pereira, tipped by the Reds boss to be a future Portugal no.1, was on the bench as cover. However, Mourinho could be saving Pereira for their final game of the season, where they host Crystal Palace - giving Pereira a special introduction to his Manchester United career.

The Argentinian number one has played second fiddle to David de Gea for the last two seasons after being brought in by Louis van Gaal to replace Victor Valdes, with whom the Dutchman had fallen out with. We have two good goalkeepers with experience.

"We have Spain's national team goalkeeper [De Gea], Argentina's national team goalkeeper [Sergio Romero] and we have a young boy that, for me, is going to be the Portuguese No1".

According to The Mirror, De Gea will likely face Tottenham and Southampton with both clashes away from home, but Joel Pereira could be drafted in to make his Premier League debut against Palace next Sunday.

Mourinho has also confirmed that Sergio Romero will keep his place for the Europa League final against Ajax.
