Melissa McCarthy motors through NY dressed as Sean Spicer

Just this morning, actress Melissa McCarthy took the the streets of Manhattan driving a motorized podium to promote her sixth time hosting Saturday Night Live. McCarthy, in full Sean Spicer garb, was spotted speeding through the streets of Midtown on a White House press room podium, during the shooting of what looks to be quite the SNL sketch.

Not only did no one see her impression as Spicer coming, but much like Baldwin and Trump, McCarthy has been incredibly successful at using satire to affect reality.

We can't wait to see what McCarthy brings to this table (motorized podium?).

The first time she played Spicer on February 4 was a surprise appearance.

From there, McCarthy touched on Spicer's gum-chewing habit, fondness for alternative facts, and combative style.

Spicer was reportedly "benched" during a crucial week for the White House in the wake of Trump's shocking firing of Federal Bureau of Investigation chief James Comey. And with flawless timing, comedian Melissa McCarthy is bringing back her Sean Spicer impression this weekend.

Meanwhile, McCarthy spoke about how SNL first approached her to play Spicer, admitting she was a bit blindsided by the offer.

Joining McCarthy as the night's musical guest is lana Haim, Danielle Haim and Este Haim better known as the members of HAIM - who will be making their Saturday Night Live debut as the night's musical guests. "I was like 'What?!'"

However, the Post then offered a correction, stating that Spicer was "among the bushes" not 'in the bushes'.

Since its debut in 1975, "Saturday Night Live" has been lionized and criticized for defining presidencies.

If all of this hype seems somewhat over-the-top for an otherwise regular episode of SNL, that's because it is.
