Champions League would be the start of something attractive for Liverpool - Wijnaldum

Champions League would be the start of something attractive for Liverpool - Wijnaldum

Georginio Wijnaldum says Champions League qualification is a must for Liverpool if they're to go to the next level.

When asked about their top four chances on Sky Sports HQ's Tuesday morning Premier League Daily show (11am), pundit Tony Gale stated: "This is the year, I believe, they're going to come unstuck".

The Northern Ireland worldwide defender, who has started every single Premier League game so far this season, was forced off against Chelsea on Friday night with an injury and will not recover in time for Tuesday's trip.

As the 2016/17 campaign enters its final week, how much does your team set to make?

The gap between 8th and 16th is still incredibly tight with plenty of teams able to leap several places and earn a bigger slice of the prize fund.

At the same time, Arsenal must draw 0-0 at home to Everton, while Man City lose 3-1 at the hands of Watford at Vicarage Road.

"But we are professional, we are salaried to this club and we just want to have the best result for this club - not to think about other situations or this situation of the boss".

"Now, every day I do this and it is OK but sometimes with all the games we play every three days, it is hard and I need to have a rest to recover well for my Achilles".

"We have Petr Cech, we have Ospina, we have Wojciech, who is on loan at Roma and has had an exceptional season". It's down to us.

"Then the last game is at Watford, which will be tough again but we are ready for that".
