Mourinho: I won't make mistakes in my second season

The Portuguese coach is prioritising Wednesday's Europa League final and intends to rest his key players, even asking Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce, his opponent on Sunday, to do the same.

"It's frustrating for me". I enjoy the second because in the second I know I'm not making mistakes. For the players as well because they've got good bonuses for the position they finish in the league so they are well aware of what it means. I don't lose time.

"A final is a final and we have to go to the final with everything like Ajax does because they have finished the season and they do not have any more football to play until the final".

Bosz, who has already taken aim at Mourinho in recent days, believes that Ajax also have reason to feel just as exhausted as their opponents.

Despite spending £455 million on transfer fees in the last three years, United now sit 24 points behind Chelsea heading into the final round of matches. For this reason, we must take them on, but given 10 of their last 15 at Old Trafford have finished all-square we'll keep the draw onside.

The purchases of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba were supposed to trigger a title challenge from the fallen Manchester giants, but United have laboured outside of the top four. I never saw. It's just a lost battle, we have to accept the way it is.

Chris Smalling would be absent, and missed training on Friday, but is expected to be fit for Wednesday while Marouane Fellaini was "a question mark" with United waiting on a scan after he suffered a hamstring injury.

"He had little matches where the performances were not so good, but normally the performance is related to the team, so when the team was very good, he was very good". There are clubs with more stability than us, better squads, more time to work.

'They could easily have changed it last week and said, "We will give you the best chance to try to win the Europa League".

Southampton manager Claude Puel refused to discuss his future at the club, which is the subject of speculation. These talented players don't arrive at Ajax by accident.

"So I think after the moment Crystal Palace beat Hull City and Hull City is relegated, and Swansea is safe, I think in that moment, the match has to be Saturday. I believe it is not by looking at them, but by looking at ourselves".
