Liverpool hold talks with Manchester United and Chelsea target Tiemoue Bakayoko

However, French outlet RMC claim Liverpool are the latest club to register their interest.

Bakayoko, 22, has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League with Manchester United and Chelsea apparently interested in the France global.

Jurgen Klopp is keen to bolster his ranks in the summer and with Champions League football potentially returning to Anfield next season he will want to sign star quality.

Chelsea are preparing a €45m offer for Bakayoko which they are expected to lodge imminently.

In addition, it's suggested that Michy Batshuayi could be included in any potential deal either on loan or in a permanent move, but what is clear is that Chelsea aren't short of transfer funds with Conte looking to make serious reinforcements this summer to ensure that his side are ready to defend their Premier League crown and make a splash in the Champions League.

But Chelsea face strong competition for Bakayoko, most notably from Manchester United as Jose Mourinho has also made the midfielder's acquisition one of his main aims for the upcoming window.

Bakayoko, 22, looks increasingly likely to become Antonio Conte's first summer signing as Premier League-winning boss.

The former Marseille forward arrived at Stamford Bridge last summer for £33m, but has had little impact on the Chelsea side which stormed to the title - although the 23-year-old did score the goal which won the club the title against West Brom last Friday.
