Men 'Catcalling' Woman Viciously Beat Up in Manhattan

The city police department has released surveillance video of an attack on two men in Manhattan.

The two men began whistling in a sexual manner at the woman on Sherman Avenue in Inwood early Thursday, officials said.

The suspect's girlfriend tried to restrain him, but to no avail, as he hurled multiple punches at both of the men. The other victim, 39, was hospitalized with some bruises and is expected to be OK.

When the beating was finally over, the attacker and his girlfriend walked off east on 207th St., sources said.

The NYPD describes the enraged boyfriend to be between 18 to 20 years old. He was wearing a white Polo shirt, gray shorts and white high-top Converse sneakers. The woman he was with appeared to be around the same age, last seen with a gray silk dress and black sneakers.
