Sean Dyche keen to "keep upgrading" Burnley

Sean Dyche keen to

Manchester United academy graduate Tom Heaton insists that he is more than happy at Burnley and has no desire to leave, despite having been linked with Crystal Palace.

Sean Dyche has targeted strengthening his Burnley squad ahead of next season's Premier League campaign amid continued speculation regarding the future of the Clarets' star players.

"It is about playing Premier League football and continuing to work at the global set-up", he said.

I'm delighted to be involved in that and have a taste for it and now I've got a hunger for more.

"For me - I want to keep improving every day".

But Heaton says he is unfazed by the prospect of the Clarets losing some of their star names this summer and believes the work ethic Dyche has cultivated at the club will still stand them in good stead for next season.

Burnley, who had been fighting relegation for much of the season, could finish as high as 11th if they beat West Ham United in their final match on Sunday and other results go their way.

"It's always a good stimulus when they see players coming in and they have to fight for their own shirt, so we've got to add more".

Instead Dyche is preparing for the clash with the Hammers determined to finish with a victory which will round off a solid and unexpectedly comfortable campaign in style.

His impressive performances to help Sean Dyche's side retain their Premier League status have been attracting attention.

"We're not finished there - there's still places to play for".

"We've only been in the bottom three once and that was after the first weekend of the season".
