Welbeck wants strong finish to season at Arsenal

For the first time in his career, Arsene Wenger defeated Jose Mourinho in a Premiership match, while Liverpool once again did an incredibly terrible thing and lost the third place in the standings after they only managed to get one point from the game with Southampton.

The youngster earned rave reviews from Jose Mourinho after the Arsenal game, with the manager telling Sky Sports: "I think he did an wonderful job. It's the first time I leave Highbury or the Emirates Stadium and they're happy", he said. Everything was completely different about Sunday's game at Emirates Stadium, and it summed up where both teams are at right now. They walk in the streets with their head low.

United will get a final chance to break their duck away from home against the Premier League's big-hitters next weekend when they travel to face Tottenham in the final game to be played at White Hart Lane. I think Jones, Smalling, Mata were unbelievable, the way they performed after seven weeks of being out.

Rooney continues to be linked with a big-money move to China, where his agent Paul Stretford spent time earlier in the year speaking to interested clubs. I don't think the other ones (in the top four race), playing one match a week and being in a great situation, I don't think they are going to blow it. I am not enjoying that, honestly.

'It's not like I played my first football match in England.

"I've had to keep working and try to take my chances when I get the opportunity". No problems. We shook hands but during the game I don't like what I never like.

Celta Vigo forward Iago Aspas has warned Manchester United that his side have nothing to lose at Old Trafford this Thursday night. "You become cleverer, and since my (last) red card, I think things have improved".

"The team was good, organised, we played to win and Arsenal weren't better than us in my opinion".

Once again, they are putting together a late-season dash up the table, with a top-four finish still possible. I can not demand more from players who don't play one minute of football in the past seven weeks. The former Chelsea boss has been resting his key players for Premier League clashes to ensure they are fresh for their midweek European outing.

"It's what we needed - we needed three points to start momentum", he said. All round a good win against a Manchester United side who clearly have one eye on the Europa League.
