Apple's new 10.5-inch iPad Pro replaces the 9.7-inch Pro

Apple's new 10.5-inch iPad Pro replaces the 9.7-inch Pro

Apple's Senior Vice President of Software Engineering Craig Federighi announced the feature at the company's Worldwide Developers Conference in San Jose, Calif., Monday.

There wasn't much news about other Apple platforms other than mention of HomeKit working with the new HomePod.

To keep up with Amazon and Google, it is high time that Apple create a smart speaker.

Apple described iOS 11 as "the biggest software releases ever for iPad, with powerful multitasking features".

DNDWD, which will be available in fall 2017 with the release of Apple's mobile operating system iOS 11, will allow users to send autotomatic replies to contacts attempting to reach them while they are behind the wheel.

Here's a visual tour of iOS 11 Beta using screenshots running on an iPhone 7 Plus smartphone. The new firmware will not be compatible with 32-bit devices, meaning people with a iPhone 5 or 5C or earlier phones and people with fourth generation iPads or later will no longer be able to update their devices.

"Siri extends beyond voice, using on-device learning to deliver more personal experiences and offers suggestions based on personal usage of Safari, News, Mail, Messages and more".

USA Today reports that when turned on, your iPhone can detect when you are driving and automatically mute all notifications; so amid a flurry of texts, posts or tweets, your screen remains dark. In the new operating system, it'll be 64-bit-or-nothing - Apple is also removing 32-bit app compatibility from the entire OS stack.

Jason Wakeford, spokesman for Brake, said: "This new feature is to be welcomed and will help drivers stay focused on the road and not their phones".

iOS 11 was a surprising reveal to the public. Apple hasn't provided any updated figures in this regard, but there's a good chance the new Pencil gets very close to that figure. It may also present you with a list of all the applications you haven't had occasion to use of late and suggest that you uninstall some or all of them. Apple has strongly resisted giving NFC to bank apps on security grounds.
