Warriors' Green stays in Game 4 after technical foul fiasco

LeBron James, Draymond Green and 2 Chainz linked up during All-Star Weekend in New Orleans for a wide-ranging discussion.

On Friday night, the eruptions finally came. At first, however, he did not realize the referees were disciplining him. "The table informed us that it was his second technical foul and ejected".

Which is when Green was assessed with a technical that, by all appearances, was his second and thereby disqualifying foul. That was weird. Kerr had reacted unhappily to the call on Green, but he didn't spring from the bench in a particularly combative way. Nevertheless, that expression earned him his second technical foul.

According to ESPN's Zach Lowe, moments after the Warriors lost a gut-wrenching Game 7 to the Cleveland Cavaliers, blowing a 3-1 lead, Green reached out to Warriors GM Bob Myers and told him what he had to do. He had hit his breaking point for the night and was letting it show.

That's when things turned weird.

Yet, after a number of minutes of confusion, Draymond was allowed to stay in the game.

The small forward did a great job keeping his composure to this point of the postseason. That is a valuable tidbit of knowledge.

Another eventful Game 4 of the NBA Finals for Draymond Green - even after it appeared he'd been ejected in this one.

No doubt, the National Basketball Association would love nothing more than to see this Finals series go longer than four games.

However, in 2015, the Warriors won the championship in Cleveland, ending the series in six games.

Circumstances are looking eerily similar right about now. So I know you could take away the physical part of the game as far as controlling stuff, but emotionally that should be us, that should be what the players have as their own out there.
