Green throws jabs at Lebron, Cavaliers

Forward Draymond Green wore a "Quickie" T-shirt to the Golden State Warriors' NBA championship parade on Thursday, with the "Q" copied from the logo of Quicken Loans Arena, home of the Cavaliers. I definitely didn't start the superteam, if that's what he's trying to say.

Speaking on the stage at Thursday's parade celebrating the Warriors' championship, Green pinned the start of the superteam trend on James. "You started the superteam, bro!"

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry hoisted the Larry O'Brien trophy as his team and its fans celebrated the National Basketball Association championship with a victory parade.

Funny. Still doesn't distract from the fact that Green and the Warriors beat James's Cavaliers in five games. Green regularly posts content on James' "Uninterrupted" video platform, and Jefferson played with Green during the 2012-13 season.

I'm sort of inclined to agree with LeBron but it depends on what your definition of a superteam actually is. In '96, when [Michael] Jordan was retired, the Rockets joined Charles Barkley, Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde Drexler, all on the same team.

It had been four days since the Golden State Warriors claimed their second National Basketball Association championship in the past three years.

Jefferson defended that reasoning by distinguishing the historical franchises James mentioned and the Warriors from each team James led to a title. In a podcast released Friday, "The King" had the following to say on Green's comments. When Sam Amick of USA Today asked Thompson about them in November, Thompson said, "Yeah, I don't get it cuz I'm not dead". I'm petty. I've been waiting for a while, just coming up with ideas.

"Superteam? No", Durant said, according to's Chris Haynes.

Within hours of the shirt's debut, Cleveland's LeBron James clapped back on Instagram, captioning a photo of Green in his "Quickie" tee with: "That's what she said".

"Oh yeah, for sure", James said in agreement.

"No, no", James responded when Clifton brought up Green's assertion. Durant joined a team that set the National Basketball Association record for wins in a season a year ago.
