Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will not Feature the On-Screen fingerprint scanner

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will not Feature the On-Screen fingerprint scanner

However, it would now appear that the Samsung Bixby early access program is coming to the USA, according to a new report earlier this week from TechCrunch. It is also capable of recording slow motion films at 960fps, which is four-times the amount offered on Apple's iPhone 7 and the Samsung Galaxy S8.

According to an industry analyst, Gizchina reported that Vivo will be the first company to implement and introduce the under-screen optical fingerprint scanner in the industry. Samsung has also listed the terms and conditions for Galaxy S8, S8+ users who are signing up for this early testing of the Bixby voice-assistant in English.

The move is likely to be a major blow for Samsung, especially as Apple's iPhone 8 is expected to feature similar tech. It is believed that Samsung made that change to prevent the brighter colours from burning out their display.

So when exactly can we expect the Note 8 to make its debut?

Maybe it does say something that, when it comes to rumors about these phones, The Boy Genius Report's takes are "THE GALAXY NOTE 8 IS BLAZING FAST" and "THE IPHONE 8 IS UGLY".

The reason behind the success of Galaxy S8 and S8+ is the reduction in the bezel size of the smartphones but Note 8 will be soon challenging the latest flagship devices in this category.

As you all know, the Galaxy Note 7 turned out to be a disaster its early promises, with the main issue being the battery that ultimately led to the phone's discontinuation. It was later revealed that Samsung meant to place the fingerprint scanner on the front glass but couldn't get the tech to work before release.

The phone is expected to improve upon the bold new design first shown off on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+...
We certainly don't want another phone brand that will explode in our hands, pockets or to our ear. What's more, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG 6 are not even figuring in the top 10 best-selling smartphones in the USA market.
