Nintendo Switch update introduces a 'find my Joy-Con' feature

Delicious new features have arrived for the Nintendo Switch! That's not the case for the Switch's 3.0.0 update, which is now available. Switch-Con team is a group of engineers that love the Nintendo Switch and developing new technology.

If you're still having trouble updating, you can also trigger a manual update from there.

Finally, Nintendo has fixed an issue to prevent unintended HDMI input change with certain TVs while the console is docked in Sleep Mode, and resolved an issue that caused game software updates to fail and prevented the software from starting. This function should also apply to the Switch Pro Controller too.

Use the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller via wired communication by connecting the USB Charging cable - To enable, head to System Settings Controllers and Sesors Pro Controller Wired Communication.

You'll now be able to change the Switch's display by inverting its colors or using Greyscale, an accessibility feature that may make on-screen colors easier to distinguish for those with color blindness or make the Switch more pleasant to use in general for anyone with sensitivity to screen brightness. Other fun new features include the ability to transfer Friend Lists from the Wii U and the 3DS, as well as a newfound compatibility with USB keyboards while the system is docked.

It wasn't just controllers that benefit from the update.

To even give users some basic idea on how to make use of the programming tool, FUZE is also including some example packages. The quick settings menu will now reportedly allow users to adjust the system volume, which is, of course, limited to when the console is being used in handheld mode.

We don't often post news stories on new releases here at Develop, but this one is certainly more about making than completing games.
