No offer received for Ronaldo, says Real boss

"I have not talked with Cristiano but they tell me has been treated badly in this country".

Both Real and Inter, however, are attempting to hold out for higher fees than those offered but United do not want to overpay for either player.

Reports of a rejected €60 million bid from United seem wide of the mark, though, according to Madrid president Perez, who remains keen to keep Morata in the Spanish capital.

With Ronaldo they remain cautious in the knowledge that the story could quickly end if Real appease the 32-year-old.

Perez has revealed all about the club's plans for the close season during an in-depth interview with Madrid radio station Onda Cero.

The Spain global nearly joined Madrid in 2015 until the blockbuster transfer collapsed and he continues to be linked with a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu, but Perez insisted the capital club are happy with Navas.

"I will always defend Cristiano as a footballer and as a person".

"The only thing I know is that Cristiano is very angry with the treatment he has received in the press". What I will say is that everyone must fulfil their tax obligations. What I have been told is that he has the same structure [in Spain] that he had in England and there was no problem there.

The frenzy of speculation began soon after Ronaldo was accused last week of a €14.7 million tax evasion through offshore companies.

Mourinho has a very specific vision for his team next season, and how he wants it to play, but it isn't now a vision that involves a striker like Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has denied any wrongdoing, and Madrid issued a statement last week saying it believed the player was innocent.

The Madrid electoral board met overnight and, with no other candidate putting themselves forward for election ahead of the deadline, it was confirmed that the long-serving Perez would continue in the role, taking his overall stay in the position to 18 years.

Ronaldo to leave Real Madrid? Manchester United is reportedly one of the teams he'd like to join - or rejoin.
