Uncharted The Lost Legacy Extended E3 Demo

Uncharted The Lost Legacy Extended E3 Demo

Even though it was the opener for Sony's E3 presentation this year, what we got was basically an Uncharted: The Lost Legacy trailer. Check it out in the player below!

For those that don't know: the expansion stars one of the series' more prominent characters and fan-favorite Chloe Frazer, accompanied by renowned mercenary Nadine Ross, who made her debut in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End as one of the game's main characters. The expansion is notably set 6-12 months after the events of Uncharted 4. Together, they'll venture deep into the mountains of India in search of the legendary artifact.

For the first time, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will take the series to the south-western coast of the Indian peninsula- the home of the former Hoysala Empire-which will feature an exotic mix of urban, jungle, and ancient ruins environments.

As for why the game doesn't have a number, that's simple: it's not a Nathan Drake story, which the developer is done with. But eventually, Chloe Frazer was the character that kept appealing to the developers. There's so many characters. Naughty Dog have always had the idea that The Lost Legacy would focus on a partnership, originally revolving around Sully and Cutter.

But to say the Uncharted world is done...

The Lost Legacy is definitely not the end of the Uncharted series, and even if we never see Nathan Drake in the franchise again, it looks like Naughty Dog still have plenty of stories up their sleeve to tell.
