Dani Alves drops Manchester City hint

The defender did tease a move to Manchester City when he indicated that he shares a special relationship with Pep Guardiola.

Dani Alves has given a major indication that he is joining Manchester City after breaking his silence over his Juventus exit.

Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta has since confirmed the defender is set to leave the club with Alves expressing his admiration for Guardiola as a switch nears to the Etihad Stadium nears.

The Brazilian is expected to move to England and though Chelsea are interested in the veteran full-back, Manchester City are believed to be the frontrunners to sign him on a free transfer.

He said to Conversa com Bial: "I've learned that you can never stop doing what you love and I love music".

The Brazilian continued: "I don't know what is happening".

'I've left the work to my agents, and they've said they'd talk to me once they found a resolution.

Alves has just over a year remaining on his current deal at Juventus but there have been claims that the 34-year-old may have his contract terminated by mutual consent to enable him to join City.

"If I get out (of Juventus), it'll be without any fights, no problems, contrary to what they're saying".

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Alves has only been with Juve for a year, winning Serie A and reaching the UEFA Champions League final.

City do not have an experienced right-back after releasing out-of-contract duo Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna.
