Avengers: Infinity War Appears to Have Wrapped Filming

At the D23 Expo Kevin Feige presented a star studded Avengers panel and screened a trailer that brought the crowd to it's feet.

"Okay Guardians, don't forget this might be risky, so let's put on our mean faces", Chris Pratt's Star-Lord tells his compadres. We saw the destroyed Stark Tower from the end of The Avengers, Captain America and Iron Man's origins, the Infinity stones, Thor's hammer, and various other scenes and motifs from the 16 Marvel Cinematic Universe films, all culminating in a shot of Thanos picking up the Infinity Gauntlet.

Out of nowhere, a creature thuds against their windshield.

The Guardians bring the stranger in, and Mantis revives him. Thor asks the motley crew. We see Tom Hiddleston's Loki offering the Tesseract up as a gift - presumably to Thanos, whom he has been aligned with since that first Avengers film.

Spider-Man is on a school bus.

Spidey's not the only hero who gets a new look in the film - the footage showed a grizzled-looking Captain America (Chris Evans) sporting a thick beard and a sleek, dark iteration of his costume. "'Death follows him like a shadow", says someone of Thanos... Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment - the fate of the Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

As reported by Omega Underground, filming on Avengers: Infinity War is due to finish today (July 14th) with work on Avengers 4 then beginning pretty much right after on July 17th.

The cast featured in the film are Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Tom Holland, and many more.
