Chelsea closing in on signing Borussia Dortmund hitman

Manchester United have spent the biggest transfer fee this summer so far after signing Romelu Lukaku in a £75m deal from Everton following Victor Lindelof's arrival last month.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has been heavily linked with a swoop for the 28-year-old Gabon worldwide striker, who has scored 85 goals in 128 Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund, including 31 goals in 32 outings last term.

The Gabon worldwide Aubameyang is renowned for his lightning fast pace and is one of the most in demand forwards in World football.

ANTONIO RUDIGER looks set to sign for Chelsea, so how will he fit into the line-up?

Antonio Conte is said to have turned his attention to the former AC Milan man after failing to land Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid.

Chelsea have made a surprise €100m (£88m) bid to sign 29-year-old striker Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus, but their offer was immediately rejected.

The France worldwide will replace Matic, who, like Costa, has also been left at home as Chelsea prepare to jet off for pre-season.

And Matic, 28, who has recently been linked with Inter, won't see his move away progress until Bakayoko's transfer is officially confirmed.

Matic meanwhile, is the subject of interest from Manchester United. The news is still relevant and even more so in the coming weeks however; Lukaku has officially transferred to Manchester United and Conte's eyes are firmly fixed on Italian global Andrea Belotti.
