Jose Mourinho Wants To More Manchester United Signings

Chelsea will refuse to pay £80m to sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, according to reports in the Spanish media.

United are bracing themselves for another bid for the Spanish worldwide, according to reports from the Express, and José Mourinho will sanction a move for Schmeichel should de Gea leave, giving the Danish global a chance to replicate the success of Manchester United legend and father of the Leicester City stopper, Peter. AS says the English champions will submit a €80m (£70.2m) bid for the Champions League and La Liga winning striker as Conte looks to bolster Chelsea's attack for the new season.

It's no secret that United and Real were negotiating about Morata this summer, but they just couldn't hammer out a deal.

The Italian is eager to add the 24-year-old to his squad although the two clubs are yet to reach a financial agreement.

"We have had interest".

"I don't want to be disrespectful and be speaking about the player".

"I don't like to speak about players who aren't ours, because Morata is not our player".

"They've identified for a long time that his development at Juventus, his training at Madrid and the fact that he's a consistent trophy victor at a very young age, meant that they thought he was the right player".

"I am nobody to talk about a player who is not from my team".

"But I don't want to say Matic or any other name because I don't think it's correct".

While United believe that De Gea is now much more settled in Manchester than two years ago, when his relationship with former manager Louis van Gaal had become strained, there is an acceptance within the club that a move to Real will always be a temptation for the 26-year-old, whose pop star girlfriend Edurne Almagro Garcia continues to live in Madrid.

"(We made) offers we thought were fair and yet no agreement was reached".
