Mena Massoud to Play 'Aladdin' Following Casting Drama

As expected, Smith is set to give his interpretation of the film's most iconic character, the Genie, brought to life by Robin Williams in the animated film.

The House of Mouse may have been having problems finding its titular Aladdin for the remake of the 1992 animated classic prior to D23 this weekend, but the same can not be said for Jasmine and Genie.
