Nine games are featured as part of Evo's main tournament with ESPN2 and Disney XD broadcasting on television the finals for the top two favorite Evo games.

A quick TV spot for Smash Bros. was uploaded to the D|XP Twitter account (which was retweeted by the official Disney XD page).

This is the latest esports event to air on ESPN networks.

You can check out the Day 1 stream right now with the video below from the EVO channel on Twitch. Numerous companies will host streams for their own games, like Capcom, NetherRealmStudios and Bandi Namco.

If you would rather get a glimpse of all the action, then you can watch everything at one time on Multitwitch.

Disney's airing of the Smash Bros. finals will be the second major live broadcast of EVO 2017 alongside ESPN's airing of the finals for Street Fighter V during the national fighting game competition. Wii U finals at EVO 2017. It has been announced that both the Super Smash Bros. Wii U, BlazBlue Central Fiction, The King of Fighters XIV, and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Evo5 - This channel will host The Jump Off, a talk show for the fighting game community which also offers commentary on the games.

Naturally, you might not want to watch every single hour of programming, so if you want to just watch the top players from each gaming segment battle it out, you might want to return on July 16 to tune in and watch the finals that will start at 7:45am Pacific Time.

With the programming on the channel being geared to a younger demographic, it is unclear if they will venture into more graphic esports titles in the future.
