Samuel L. Jackson and 'Incredibles 2' Cast Unveil Details at D23 Expo

Bird, who directed the first film and took home an Oscar for Best Animated Feature, will return to tackle the sequel. Host John Lasseter said they are working hard "reimagining and reinventing the studio". Grabbing promptly after The Incredibles, The Incredibles 2 will keep on following the relatives managing their regular human issues while they battle the powers of abhorrent as superheroes. Lasseter, Bell and Gad shared with Frozen fans a behind-the-scenes video showcasing the filmmakers' recent research trip to Norway, Finland and Iceland.

Brad Bird, director of "The Incredibles", appeared at the D23 Expo in Anaheim to show animation tests for the upcoming sequel to "The Incredibles", due out Summer 2018. A clip from the film was screened, where Jack-Jack shows off some more of his powers and gets in a fistfight with a raccoon.

During the panel, the duo showed off some footage of a day in the life of director at Pixar's Northern California animation studio, but no further details were revealed about the story or cast of Toy Story 4. However, because Spencer Fox's voice has gotten "deep", newcomer Huck Milner will now voice Dash.

Even with the focus of the movie being on Elastigirl, Pixar started its portion of The Incredibles 2 panel with a look at Edna Mode and her influence on the fashion industry. While it's known that The Incredibles 2 will pick up where the first film left off - with the appearance of the super villain The Underminer - this Elastigirl news is really the only other insight we have into the film's plot. But as he looks around and assesses the damage, he realizes that Jack-Jack is way more powerful than he could have ever imagined. So as Jack-Jack watches a robbery on TV, he sees a raccoon and notices its eyes resemble the mask that the robber is wearing on TV. It was announced John Lasseter will no longer be co-directing the film but Josh Cooley will be the lone director.

After the clip was shown, the actresses themselves took the stage at D23 Expo to the delight of the fans.

"Yesss is a new character who owns the website Buzzaholic", said Henson in a statement released after the presentation.
