Sevilla have reached a deal with Manchester City to acquire forward Manuel "Nolito" Agudo.

A deal between the two clubs, understood to be in the region of £8million, was agreed on Saturday and the winger underwent a medical on Sunday afternoon.

The forward also claimed that his daughter's face has changed colour because of the English weather, following which he wanted to leave Manchester City as soon as possible, even when he had another three seasons on his contract with EPL club.

City received a number of offers to take Nolito on loan from Celta and Real Betis but held out for a permanent transfer and some return on their investment for the unsettled player.

Nolito joined City on a four-year contract for £13.8m from Celta Vigo last summer after scoring 39 goals in 103 appearances for the Spanish outfit.

Nolito had previously issued a come-and-get-me plea to Spanish clubs when speaking to reporters in May.

Sevilla have been busy this summer as they prepare for the Champions League playoff round, with Luis Muriel, Ever Banega, Guido Pizarro and Sebastian Corchia already joining, while Vitolo, Adil Rami and Vicente Iborra have all departed.
