Watch Jackie Bradley Jr. rob Aaron Judge of his 31st home run

He offered the latest reminder of that Sunday night when he made a jaw-dropping leaping catch to rob New York Yankees phenom Aaron Judge of a home run.

Judge almost brought NY within a run with his deep fly ball to center in the eighth, but Jackie Bradley Jr. reached up and made a spectacular catch to rob Judge of a two-run homer.

Judge might want to never do that at center field at Fenway Park ever again.

Masahiro Tanaka was significantly better than the previous outing when he lasted 4 ¹/₃ innings against the Brewers on July 9 at Yankee Stadium. He made it 3-0 when he singled to lead off the sixth, took second on an error by second baseman Starlin Castro, third on a groundout and scored on Dustin Pedroia's second hit of the game. "I'm fresh and ready to go", Judge said.

With a runner on and the Yankees down by three runs in the eighth inning, Judge drove a 95 miles per hour fastball from David Price to the deepest corner of Fenway.

In the makeup of an April 25 postponement, the Red Sox hit just four balls out of the infield and extended their scoreless streak to 22 innings.

"Highlight-reel catch against probably the most notarized power guy in the game, and timely".

Judge, who leads the majors in homers with 30 but hasn't gone deep since winning the Home Run Derby on Monday at Marlins Park, sent a David Price pitch to the deepest part of the park.

Despite the offensive woes, the Red Sox had a chance to win all four games against the Yankees due to their pitching.

This season Chapman is 2-1 with a 3.92 ERA with eight saves and three blown saves in 24 games.

After losing Friday night the Yankees won, 4-1, in 16 innings Saturday and the first game of Sunday's twin bill, 3-0.

Michael Pineda (partial tear, right elbow ligament) was transferred to the 60-day disabled list. Remember when they were four games up?

Bradley's showstopper helped the Red Sox salvage the series split, giving the team fresh life just hours after an offensive letdown in the doubleheader opener.
