Xiaomi Mi 5X poster leaked, could launch on July 26

Speculations indicate that first phone under Xiaomi's new sub-brand will be this Xiaomi 5X phone, and not Xiaomi X1.

It is likely that the high-end version of the Xiaomi 5X will carry a 12-megapixel dual camera system which will also boast the Sony IMX386 sensor besides a Samsung S5k3m3 sensor. The phone comes with the 6.44-inch display and has powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor.

Based on the rumors, Xiaomi has launched the smartphone by the end of this month. The speculated launch is dated as July 26 but there is no official confirmation from company's side till now. It is said that the upcoming Xiaomi 5X could be a mid-ranged smartphone.

The Xiaomi 5X is priced at 1,999 Yuan (~$296). This is a tentative pricing detail, and may be revised at the time of launch. Now, the same leakster has posted a picture, which appears to be a poster of the smartphone. Though the leaked poster seems to be some kind of promotional material, we still suggest you take this report with a pinch of salt. Another phone could feature the same processor setup but with a lower display resolution.

More leaks suggest that the Mi 5X will have dual OmniVision sensors, the OV12A10 OmniVision sensor + OV13880 OmniVision sensor, along with a front facing 5MP camera with a S5K5E8 sensor.

Xiaomi 5X - First Xiaomi Lanmi Phone? On the design front, the upcoming Xiaomi phone is expected to feature an all-metal body that looks fairly premium, despite being a mid-ranged smartphone. Additionally, the smartphone is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM.

Smartphone manufacturers need a strong traditional retail presence even in this digital age of total e-commerce domination, and to prove its commitment for further growth with surging sales in physical stores across Asia, Xiaomi has an offline-only product series in the works.
