PM Narendra Modi Praises Indian Women's Team in Mann Ki Baat

Modi while describing the "Good and Simple Tax" said it is not merely a tax reform, but a means of encouraging honesty and social reform.

"If 125 crore Indians decide to do something for the country, resolve like the one of "August Kranti Diwas" in 1942.We can shape a new future for India in 2022". It will be repeated on the Akashwani at 8 pm and will also be streamed on the YouTube channels of the Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and DD News. He urged the people to celebrate it in an eco-friendly way.

He identified these problems as communalism, casteism, corruption, terrorism, poverty and dirt and asked people to work for their removal in the same spirit of "Quit India".

Modi pointed that transport and logistics sectors earlier suffered due to multiple tax structures as much time went in maintaining paperwork. "We have to live for our nation and take it to new heights of progress", PM Modi said asking the countrymen to take a pledge this year with a determination to complete it within five years. "I view this as a healthy and pleasant change and I told these daughters that only they were blessed with such good fortune, and hence they should banish any thought of not having been successful".

"Today, we do not have to die for the nation". All state governments and the Centre had worked together for its implementation and the faith of customers has increased towards shopkeepers. It ushers in a new culture. It is also an example of cooperative federalism. "What was common was the widespread support Mahatma Gandhi received from across the country".

He also spoke of the number of festivals approaching, including Rakhi and Diwali, and said "such festivities also extend an opportunity to the poor to earn their livelihood".

Modi not only hailed the Indian women cricket team's efforts in the World Cup final, but also praised the nation for supporting the team. There are many events in the month of August that are closely associated with the history of our freedom movement. I got a chance to meet them this week and I felt really nice talking to them. We remember Mahatma Gandhi for his leadership during "Quit India" and we remember leaders like Lok Nayak JP & Dr Lohia who took part in it. Consumer confidence in traders has increased after the rollout of GST, the prime minister claimed. "People are sending letters of appreciation over GST". "The month of August has seen historic movements in India".

- Monsoon is enjoyable but this season also leads to floods.
