The industry will grow due to Microsoft Xbox One X, says Ubisoft

The cooperative survival shooter is coming to Microsoft's Xbox One family of consoles on August 29th with a $39.99 price tag and will include all three of the previously released content packs (The Tropical Bash, The Descent, and Elements of The Summer Sideshow) for the PC and PlayStation 4. Now, what about Killing Floor 2 for Xbox One X?

Now, however, it would appear that Microsoft has chose to just go all the way with the Xbox One X and support 4K gaming natively so that the entire image is rendered straight out in 4K. Furthermore, it was revealed that the developer took only hours to get the game running on the Xbox One X.

Earlier there were reports that Tripwire Interactive's Killing Floor 2 will be running at 4K resolution on Microsoft's upcoming console Xbox One X. However, according to a latest interview, it seems that is not true. Elder also said that the game runs at a higher frame rate on the Xbox One X than on the base Xbox One. We will be using Ultra textures on Xbox One X. We are also increasing the resolution of our shadow maps and shadow draw distance.

Plus, retailers are probably frothing at the mouth over the possibilities of bundling together a TV and an Xbox One X unofficially, especially considering how well Black Friday deals do for them.

Speaking to IGN, Bungie's Mark Noseworthy went as far as to say that the studio was interested but made no comment on what the support will be.

A fan recently asked Xbox head Phil Spencer on Twitter if we would be seeing any kind of bundles surrounding both the forthcoming console and the proper 4K HDR tv.

Spencer replied, "Yea, you've seen some of these with S and I'm sure you'll see some with X".

It's unclear just when will hear more on the subject and whether Bungie will wait until the Xbox One X actually launches, to make a big announcement. We like that because it means the industry will grow because of the better the experiences, the more people want to have it.
