Fallout Board Game Announced By Fantasy Flight

Fallout 4 launched at the end of 2015, but the game has received a steady stream of content since then to keep fans engaged.

Bethesda and Fantasy Flight Games are teaming up to create an official Fallout board game that will release alter this year.

It's listed as playing one to four players, but it doesn't sound like a cooperative game. "Players range out across a modular, hex-based board that matches with one of several scenarios and settings - all of which are drawn from Bethesda's core Fallout games or their expansions". While these releases are somewhat expected for big games at this point, there was one tidbit that even owners of the game will want to know: more Pip-Boy's are coming.

The package will include the base Fallout 4 game, as well as its six additions: Nuka-World, Vault-Tec Workshop, Contraptions Workshop, Far Harbor, Wasteland Workshop, and Automatron.

By exploring these regions and completing missions in the main storyline or side quests, your character will grow using a simplified SPECIAL system and competing factions (like the Railroad and the Institute) will advance their agendas.

You'll encounter factions along the way, and be able to exert influence over them, which will become more important as these factions slowly expand and gain power across the map.

If Fallout Monopoly isn't your thing, Fantasy Flight will be releasing their very own Fallout themed boardgame, just called Fallout.
