Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Will Even Things Out With Apple

Apple's marketing name for the feature is 3D Touch, and it appears that Samsung will adopt the same name.

He notes this model of the Galaxy Note 8 may be a Korea exclusive deal, but it's now not certain.

Samsung will launch a new feature on the Galaxy Note 8 that Apple introduced in the iPhone 6s two years ago. For instance, long-pressing on an app could trigger a list of options to jump directly to.

Samsung released a 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM version of the Galaxy S8, but there were only 150,000 units and it was only on sale in the company's home market of South Korea.

Samsung is going to reveal the Note 8 on 23 August at an event in NY. It is believed that the whole display could be pressure sensitive now. It had removed the home button from the phone, necessitating a virtual one that could be pulled up from any screen via Force Touch. However, the report on the new feature reveals that there are still some Galaxy Note 8 specifications that have not surfaced.

The reason we know what color variants Samsung will use on its upcoming phablet is because this information has been leaked on Weibo, which is basically the Chinese variant of Reddit. Consumers here in the United States only have the option of arctic silver, midnight black, and orchid gray when picking up the standard Galaxy S8 through a carrier, though you can also get one in coral blue if you buy an unlocked device directly from Samsung. However, the latter may not be present in markets like Russia, Europe and the US.
