"Anthony Scaramucci" FaceTimes Weekend Update Asking for a Job

Comedy fans were surely disappointed that the unusual and short tenure of Anthony Scaramucci occurred in the SNL off-season, but thankfully Saturday Night Live Weekend Update managed to deliver.

Co-hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che caught up on some of the highest profile political stories from the past two-or-so months - namely, "minor staffing changes" at the White House that saw the premature departures of Reince Priebus, Sean Spicer, and Anthony Scaramucci. Back when Seth Meyers was still hosting Weekend Update, Bill Hader appeared on SNL alongside him as beloved New York City correspondent Stefon, a flamboyant club kid who did a lot of recreational drugs.

Jost told NBC News earlier this week that missing out on covering Scaramucci's short tenure "was sort of like missing Christmas". "I just showed you what's going to happen to you when you go to jail, Colin", she said.

When Che suggested he would have liked Scaramucci to have stuck around in his White House position a little longer, Hader's Scaramucci agreed but said he had no regrets.

Those who are looking to "score some more Scara-mooch" are in luck, as Stephen Colbert has landed an interview with the real Anthony Scaramucci. "Actually, he was like Chanukkah in July, because he was around for about a week, and it's a miracle he lasted that long".

"All I did was sell my company, missed the birth of my son, and ruined my entire reputation. All to be king of idiot mountain for 11 days". Che asked. "She used to be desperate, like, 'Send me your poor, your exhausted, anybody, I just need a man, lord.' Now she's on Tinder like, 'He's gotta be rich, and smart, and light-skinned, and 6'4".' I'm like, 'Bitch, you aren't China!

But the most notable moment of the show came when Hader made his debut as the fast-talking New Yorker Scaramucci.
