Bill O'Reilly Launches 'Prototype' for His Comeback

Ever since he departed from Fox News, O'Reilly has divided his time between producing his No Spin News daily podcast and sharing photos of Holly, his Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

An official date for O'Reilly's appearance has not been announced, the network said yesterday.

After getting the boot from his longtime job with the Fox News Channel, Bill O'Reilly appears to be readying his comeback.

Smerconish was on O'Reilly's online talk show Wednesday, and O'Reilly told Smerconish that he would appear on Smerconish's CNN program at an uncertain time.

It is unclear when exactly O'Reilly would go on Smerconish's program, which CNN airs on Saturday mornings.

For years, O'Reilly has recorded his "No Spin News" podcast in addition to his hosting gig at Fox News.

The webcast has a similar look and feel to "The O'Reilly Factor".

Smerconish said that he tried to be more fair, for which O'Reilly credited him.

The two men have a history.

This comes from The Hollywood Reporter, which says that O'Reilly typically wears a "short-sleeve golf shirt" while recording his podcast, but he made a decision to actually put on trousers and a dress shirt (from a company that advertised during the show) for his first video.

O'Reilly also still has his books. He typically only gives interviews to friendly outlets, such as Glenn Beck's program on "The Blaze".

When he was still at Fox, O'Reilly occasionally ventured on other major networks, usually to promote his books. But CNN had been foreign terrain until now.
