Chris Pratt, Anna Faris Split Triggered by Family, More Kids and Hollywood

As fans struggle to grasp Chris Pratt and Anna Faris's tragic decision to part ways, Kristen Bell found the silver lining in the situation, and suggests you do, too.

Pratt and Faris met in 2007 when they were both cast in the film "Take Me Home Tonight".

"I don't necessarily know that it's "Hollywood" that gets in the way", Bell said.

"Let's pray it turns around, ' she said".

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star and his actress wife - who have four-year-old son Jack together - announced earlier this week they would be legally separating after eight years of marriage, and close pal Patti Stanger has now said she's "praying" the pair will change their minds as they're still living under the same roof.

Stanger says she told Pratt and Faris not to listen to the media, instead advising them to "just do your thing and see where you land". But the actress says she prioritizes the relationship, for example, by going to couples therapy. "I think it's more the separation than anything that can weigh on people", she continued. 'If [Pratt]'s still in the house, there's hope'. Although she admitted that she does not always agree with Dax Shepard, Kristen Bell believed that it was their constant communication that helped them accept each other.

'If the person doesn't leave the house, there's a lot of hope there. Because they're not poor... they could go get a condo, Airbnb it. There's a lot of best friend factor there. There were rumors that Anna Faris was upset about Chris Pratt getting close with Jennifer Lawrence on the sets of Passengers which was directed by Morten Tyldum. However, she does think people should be a little more understanding of the fact this is what Faris and Pratt want. When he married Anna back in 2009, she was much bigger than him. The source also added that although they differed on growing their family, they are both determined to amicably co-parent their 4-year-old son, Jack. Our thoughts are with the family during this hard time of transition. But never fear: The Shepard-Bells are doing what they can to make it work in Hollywood.
