Dark Arisen Hits PS4/Xbox One This October For $29.99 — Dragon's Dogma

Today Capcom revealed the western release date of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen for PS4 and Xbox One. People in North America and Europe will be able to get it on October 3, 2017, while those in Japan will get it on October 5, 2017.

Announced way back in 2011, Dragon's Dogma was released in 2012 for PS3 and Xbox 360, and re-released with the Dark Arisen subtitle a year later.

Boss fights are something that Dragon's Dogma excels in. Reviews lauded a unique combat mechanic in which the player can grab onto enemies, and even climb on top of gargantuan foes to hack away at different parts of their bodies. Dragon's Dogma received praise for the game's day and night cycle, which affects the game's difficulty, sending players running for cover as darkness falls. This expanded version is now being released for consoles also.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is coming to PS4 and Xbox One on October 3rd, and it includes the original Dragon's Dogma adventure along with all the content and tweaks introduced in DD: Dark Arisen.

Dark Arisen included a new zone, all the DLC content from the original game, as well as a new fast travel system, new items, weapons, armor, and quests.
