PJ Fleck Offers Scholarship To Walk-On Kicker Justin Juenemann

The coach asked Kyle who his favorite player was and the fan pointed out Juenemann because he spent a lot of time at the hospital.

Fleck presented senior kicker Justin Juenemann with a full ride courtesy of Kyle Tanner, a patient at the University of Minnesota's Masonic Children's Hospital, and a t-shirt cannon.

"It's just so awesome to see him in the team room to talk about what he's gone through because all of us will think someday we may have it pretty tough", Juenemann said.

It's always a special moment when a walk-on player learns they are earning a scholarship - and that's without a T-shirt cannon, a friend, and FaceTime with an elated mother. "Then when I got the shirt it took me a minute and everyone was cheering, my teammates I think even lifted me up a little". Kyle said that Juenemann is one of his favorite players after hearing that Fleck made a decision to give Kyle the chance to deliver an unforgettable surprise to Juenemann.

Juenemann is a fifth year senior and has never appeared in a game for the Gophers. "He could easily not do it, and nobody would say anything".

The original video of the surprise now has close to 400,000 views on Facebook.

"Thank you Coach Fleck, Kyle, and everyone who was involved in setting this up".
