Reliance Communication offers unlimited calls, data with Rs 299 rental plan

This makes users eligible for the same benefit that Jio Prime members were getting with the Rs. 303 pack under the Jio Summer Surprise plan, and at Rs. 309 with the Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer. The teaser confirms that the users will get unlimited calls, texts, and data offers with this Rs 299 rental plan. "Introducing the lowest monthly rentals ever", the picture read.

This new deal comprises a bundle offer by RCom - that includes a Reliance 4G data card and a Reliance 4G SIM. RCom has come up with a Rs 299 rental plan for its subscribers.

Telecom operator Reliance Communications, which is reeling under debt of about Rs45,000 crore, plans to issue shares to lenders for the debt that it has raised from them, as per a regulatory filing of the company. Offers for the Wi-Pod dongle was pegged at Rs 3,200 for 365 days of validity. The Rs 499 plan comes with a validity of 30 days, offers 30 GB (4G/3G/2G), while the Rs 399 plan offers 15 GB data for 30 days.

Vodafone's not been too behind in offering new packages in a bid to retain its customers who could drift to Reliance Jio owing to the cheap data plans. It offers 70 GB data with unlimited Vodafone to Vodafone local and STD calls. The scheme seems to be identical to the offer of Reliance for its recently released Jio Feature Phones. Earlier, RCom Merged its wireless business with Aircel while it has received 99.99% shareholders. Vodafone also launched a new plan, the First Recharge (FR) - 445, aimed at new 4G prepaid users in Maharashtra and Goa.
