HTC U11 Life to come with Snapdragon 630

Around a month, the rumor mill had revealed the leaked specifications of the HTC Ocean Life smartphone.

HTC has rolled out yet another update for its flagship HTC U11 smartphone.

HTC's U11 was launched back in May, and the phone's camera still has the highest score on DxOMark. The smartphone will sport a 5.2-inch display along with a fingerprint sensor arranged in a similar fashion to the U11. The phone may be mid-range but it will have Edge Sense and IP67 rating. The smartphone will have 3D Gorilla glass 5 on the front panel, the primary camera is of 16 MP with autofocus and flash, 16 Megapixel frontalka without flash and Android OS 7.1.1 Nougat with a proprietary interface Sense last generation. However, now it looks like the company is planning on launching yet another device in the market by the end of this year called the HTC U11 Life.

HTC did not provide sales guidance or an earnings outlook in the statement, although it reiterated the strength of its U11 flagship handset and said the ecosystem for its Vive virtual reality headset has gained support from industry players such as Google, Intel Corp and Apple Inc.

Alas, there are no words on actual pricing or a release date, and the previously rumored Snapdragon 660 processor is replaced with a slightly humbler-sounding SD630 silicon in the latest piece of gossip based on credible inside information. The U11 Life will be built on a Snapdragon 630 chipset along with 32GB of onboard storage.
